Feeling slightly exhausted as writing this weeknotes, have used Sunday as an opportunity to reenergise. A lot of this week was focused on internal and external PR, rather excitingly featuring in a podcast by Computing Magazine. I was in Kent dogsitting for a couple of days during the week, and enjoyed a wholesome day on Saturday: museum, meal out and watching the Odyssey. Surrounded by lots of good food and meals out.
Work
Time in meetings: 24.8hrs. Lots of time also spent in unaccounted-for meetings.
- Technology landscape: A good proportion of the week was spent finalising a deck and reviewing our tech landscape, being presented next Monday.
- Podcast: Had the opportunity to take part in a podcast on Wednesday, discussing our digital approach to animal welfare with Computing Magazine. Great experience.
- Requirement gathering/ briefing: Held a couple of briefings with commissioning teams, to get a better understanding of project requirements to help steer the team.
- Mid-years: Conducted more mid-years with the team, and had my own, which went well.
- Team contract: Ran a session on Thursday with the team establishing a 'team contract', or in layman's terms, the expectations of one another as a team, now we have grown to a significant size.
