Slightly more relaxing week this week, feeling a bit sluggish on Monday, but quickly picked up the pace. Lot's of project 'realignment' and refocus this week, to ensure that we're heading on the right path. Birthday on Saturday (good old Valentines day), spent with close family and friends.
Work
Time in meetings: 19.4hrs
Brief exploration and immersion: Facilitated a discovery session with a client on Tuesday, following a brief for a new 'informational' subdomain, for our Animal Welfare Evidence centre. Started pulling together the bones of a response.
Awards submissions: Spent half the day on Wednesday writing an awards submission that will end up being repurposed for a few different entries. Narrative also got passed on to CEO and exec to highlight all of the great work and results we're seeing at the moment.
HR bits: In a bit of a sea of HR admin at the moment due to some change in org. policies and contracts in my team.
Redirection on confidential project: Took a bit of a step this week to help re-establish and steer an important project that was potentially going down the wrong path.
Form infrastructure: Starting to see some movement on our exploration into a new form approach, which is exciting, but also challenging some of the infrastructure and scalability of it.
Realignment: Hate the word 'realignment', but there was a lot of that this week, after some miscommunication or lack of communication on a few projects. Also spent some time in intros with individuals stepping into new roles post our voluntary severance scheme.
